Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at heather@pawsontherocks.com if you cannot find an answer to your question. You can also call or text at (928) 614-4150.

Paws on the Rocks is currently operated out of my home garage, located at 375 N William Dawes in Big Water, UT.  When you arrive, please park in front of the fence and come to the door next to the white canopy on the left side of the main door to the house. There is a sign on the door so you know you're at the right place.

You can book through our website, by phone, or via email. I recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season or holidays. Our main number is 928.614.4150.

Our basic grooming package is The Old Fashioned Groom. It includes a bath with shampoo and conditioner, towel and blow dry, basic brush out, nail trim, and ear cleaning.

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for multiple pets. This discount applies to pets from the same household, booked the same day.  Adjustment will be made upon arrival.

Sessions vary by service and dog size, but most baths and trims take around an hour. Heavier breeds and breeds with double coats will take longer. Mini services, like nail trimming or paw pad care, are shorter.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to accommodate other clients. No-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee upon re-scheduling.

I only use non-toxic, pet-safe shampoos and conditioners. I also only use a dremel tool for nail trims.

Yes. Pricing for de-matting sessions is quoted on each animal specifically. We do offer de-shedding services as part of our regular offerings, but de-matting services are not a standard offering.

We do not offer medicated flea or tick baths. Any parasites observed, including fungal infections like ringworm, will require immediate pick-up to ensure the safety and health of other dogs in our care.

We do not groom dogs that are in heat due to hygiene and safety concerns. Owners are asked to schedule grooming appointments outside of heat cycles to ensure a clean and stress-free environment for all dogs.
